Personal Information

I started mountain biking after years of encouragement from a close friend. He kept telling me "You'll love it!" He was right… what an amazing experience! I had been an Athlete all my life, mainly football, and track, but this mountain biking thing, it required intensity, courage, endurance, and a sense of adventure that I had never experienced before!

After two years of learning everything the hard way, me and my neighbor Diego Velasquez started riding together, and after months of riding we decided to compete in races as Team Aguila ( Team Eagle ). Our Team concept was based on having a full life… living life in an amazing way, which means  ( to us ) including all those things which bring great joy, and value to our lives:  Our families, our friends, our work etc…and of coarse becoming as awesome in this sport as we could!

Soon we started making friends with others who felt the same way…
They believed in Living well, and racing hard!

Training, and experiencing this sport is a blast when you have a group of friends to do it with, and I have been blessed by all the friendships, and families, which have made Team Aguila an exhilerating part of my life!

Nothing can really prepare you for what XC mountain biking has to offer. If you haven't  tried the sport… give it a try, you may find you love it as much as we do!
